No. CHS Desk is the operating desk for Indian housing societies — maintenance demands, sinking and repair funds, AGM notices, share certificates, and the books the treasurer already keeps.
Do chairman, secretary, and treasurer share one office?
Yes. Office bearers sign in to one committee desk. What they can see and change follows their post — so the treasurer has the books, and the secretary does not need the bank.
Can residents see the society's accounts?
Residents see their own flat: bills, receipts, visitors, complaints, and notices. They do not see the bank, petty cash, or other members' ledgers.
Do we have to switch everything on day one?
No. Name the society, add the register when you have it, and turn on maintenance, gate, complaints, or notices as you need them.
