Society maintenance payments
CHS Desk is society maintenance collection software: the treasurer raises the demand, the resident pays their own flat, and the receipt stays on that flat’s ledger.

What the treasurer keeps
Monthly maintenance stays on the maintenance bills. Penalties, a NOC charge, and a building-wide levy can be raised as other charges. Cash receipts go to cash in hand. UPI, NEFT, and cheque go to the bank. Outstanding dues stay visible for the committee. A resident sees only their flat: the bill, the receipt, and what is still due.
Sinking fund and repair fund sit with the society’s accounts, not in a side spreadsheet. The books follow the Maharashtra financial year, 1 April to 31 March. Interest on delayed maintenance follows the rate in the society bye-laws. CHS Desk stores the demand and the receipt. It does not replace the society’s auditor.

Who pays CHS Desk
The society pays one annual subscription. Residents are not charged a separate software fee to open their bill. See pricing. Cooperative fund and register context is on cooperative housing society software.
